Gurugram- Jain Acharya Lokeshji met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, and held detailed discussions on issues of national and international importance as well as the development of Haryana. The Chief Minister honoured Acharya Lokeshji by presenting him with a shawl and also accepted the offering of food. In return, the Jain Acharya presented the Chief Minister with the book “World Peace Ambassador” as a token of respect.
Chief Minister Saini also gave his consent to attend the special ceremony being organized on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the World Peace Centre in Gurugram, marking the completion of 20 glorious years of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti. Eminent personalities from India and abroad are expected to participate in the ceremony.
Praising the humanitarian initiatives undertaken by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti through the World Peace Centre, India’s first such centre, Chief Minister Saini said that Acharya Lokeshji, through his thoughts and dedicated work, has enhanced the prestige of India and its culture across the world. He said, “I will be happy to participate in the ceremony marking the completion of 20 successful years of the organization.” He further stated that it is a matter of pride for the people of Haryana that India’s first World Peace Centre has been established in Gurugram, Haryana.
World Peace Ambassador Jain Acharya Lokeshji briefed the Chief Minister about the “We Support Peace” campaign. He informed him that the programme held at Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., received support from both the Republican and Democratic parties. He further stated that during the recent BRICS Summit, when the President of Iran invited him, he also extended an invitation to the President to participate in the Peace Summit.
Acharya Lokeshji said that a “War-Free World” is essential for the welfare of humanity. He emphasized that no problem can be resolved through war and conflict. According to him, every problem can be addressed through the principles of non-violence (Ahimsa) and the Anekantavada approach taught by Lord Mahavira.
